Carol Jopling
Choir Leader
Carol works as a piano teacher, working in primary schools and privately at home.
During weekends and holidays she loves sailing her yacht with family and friends
Jean Ellinor
Choir Secretary
Jean joined Upbeat! in March 2012 and she has found singing in a choir to be a real tonic.
She has been Secretary since 2014 and always endeavours to make new members feel welcome .
Jean is one of a number of choir members from Tuddenham and is involved in Tadpoles (Tuddenham Amateur Dramatic People Of Little Experience).
Sara Brook
Choir Treasurer
Sara joined Upbeat! in Jan 2015 after moving to Suffolk from London in 2014, finding it a fantastic way to get to know her new local community and make new friends. Here she rediscovered her love of singing as part of a group, finding it a great opportunity to do something just for her while raising a young family!
She took over the role of treasurer in June 2021 and has become increasingly involved in the smooth running of the choir since.
Sara is a qualified designer and enjoys the arts in many different forms. When she is not busy helping Upbeat! and being a mum, she is occupied with the setting up of SKB Design, a Suffolk based interior consultancy business!
Anna Greenwood
Events Organiser
Anna is one of our longest serving sopranos! She does a fantastic job on the PR side and coordinates our Christmas concerts and other events, such as weddings.
Anna has a busy life helping out with her two energetic grandsons! She loves spending family weekends at their holiday caravan in Aldeburgh.
Sarah

Choir Pianist
We are lucky to have Sarah as our pianist - her talents know no bounds! She is a brilliant musician and a wonderful support to Carol.
Sarah is Head of Music at Woodbridge Prep School and is also flautist and caller with Stumpy Oak Ceilidh Band. When she is not performing with Upbeat! or Stumpy Oak, she spends time with her husband and two children .
