Graham Bosher
Chairperson
Graham joined Offbeat!, the male equivalent of Upbeat!, at the very first meeting in 2022. Having no singing experience, unable to read music and lured by the fact that there was no audition, it was a leap into the unknown! How very glad he is that he did. Loving the friendships he has made, the joy of singing and the atmosphere and banter within the choir his life is all the better for joining. He became chairperson for the choir committee in 2024.
Now retired Graham enjoys time with his children and grandchildren, long walks with his dog, supporting his beloved Brentford FC, fishing and best of all socialising with friends, especially when eating and drinking are involved!

Sarah Ray
Vice Chairperson
Sarah joined Upbeat! In 2018 and was very warmly welcomed by Carol and the ladies of the choir and has since become vice chairperson, in 2024.
She was a member of several choirs in her youth, and it was therefore a natural transition into the soprano section of Upbeat. Sarah has always enjoyed the warm connection that singing in harmony with others brings.
As a nurse, shift work and two active children meant regular evening attendance at rehearsals had previously been difficult.
Sarah has enjoyed returning to singing with Upbeat! and values the camaraderie and joy that belonging to a local choir brings.
Still working p/t , Sarah keeps busy walking her dogs, swimming, and taking care of her grandchildren. She can often be seen with friends and family in her favourite places on the Suffolk Coast.
